Born in Melbourne Australia, Anthea Crawford began her career in the fashion industry at the young age of sixteen.

Her career commenced in the exciting fashion houses that were predominantly based in Flinders Lane. Here she worked with some of Australia’s most well known players in the fashion industry, which also went on to develop companies that have become some of the most enduring and loved brands of today.

After eight years developing her skills which included pattern making at RMIT, Anthea launched her own brand, Anthea Crawford Australia in 1980.

32 years later Anthea is still designing and producing 98% of her collection in Australia, which she believes is critical to the quality and integrity of the brand.

Her collection continues to incorporate each seasons most influential trends which are portrayed through beautiful dresses and separates that are designed to cater to the needs of the modern woman.

Anthea Crawford Australia is available at freestanding boutiques in Melbourne and Sydney, and across 25 David Jones and Myer department stores throughout Australia.
